… for 2020, was amazing! If I do say so myself. Yes it’s me, Michelle, Founder of TTChatterbox. Narcissistic way to lead, I know, but bear with me. We (Yes we! TTChatterbox is now a team of two!) kicked off 2020 with the first installment of Chatshop at the bmobile/TSTT Hospitality Suite at the Queen’s Park Oval. Just over 50 of us huddled in the suite with the gorgeous Oval as our backdrop (no money wasted on signage! It’s 2020!) and chatted about brands.

Our brands. The brands we love. The brands we are building. The brands that inspired us. The brands that pissed us off. The brands that collaborated with us. The brands that copied us. Chatshop once again curated a room full of brands, entrepreneurs, influencers, foodies, artisans and even some of big brands.
Big brands like bmobile and Boss Trinidad partnered with us to get Chatshop 2020 rolling. Having the right tech and tools to back your brand is essential! bmobile made a short presentation to the delegates while Boss supplied all the stationery our delegates needed for the day.

As is expected of a TTChatterbox event, the food was on point and provided by a list of entrepreneurs and artisans here in Trinidad. Éclair Boulangerie paired perfectly with coffee from Caribbean Roasters while Stroopwafels was on hand with the caramel gooeyness.
Fzero Genomics and Look Opticians were also our partners, the former helping us define who we are genetically and where we come from and the latter helping us see clearly what’s ahead.
Delegates included brands like All Bookd Up, Caribbean Baby Products, Babe Express, Trinidad Weddings, Little Black Dress, Immortelle Beauty, Caribbean Baby Products and more.

And with the second installment of Chatshop happening on February 11th, it is clear that the series is here to stay! Delegates from the first Chatshop, have rebooked for the second as the value cannot be denied. Idea sharing, networking, collaborations, the yummiest all-day menu and of course, all those photos that get shared across social media as brands share their day with the World Wide Web.

That’s what Chatshop is all about. Creating some noise together, as we are the brands that are going to shake the place up. I am very selective about the brands the we work with. We want brands who abide by a similar purpose as TTChatterbox. The brands that are all about food, places, people and the things making waves here in Trinidad and Tobago.
