Meet Foot’s One Stop Shop and Market. A brand from South Trinidad that is built on family. Owner Kevin Williams is proud of the brand he and his family have built in their local neighbourhood. 

“Our business has been designed to be an establishment that serves to our customers every need under one roof. We carry everything market-wise, grocery-wise, household items, plumbing items, electrical supplies, general hardware supplies, stationery and personal care. Our aim is to make shopping easier for our customers.”

Kevin says the name of the business was originally Foot.s Minimart, however, with its new management came new things. “We decided to keep the Foot’s part of the name as the signage has been a landmark in the Southland for years.”

“The business was originally started by my father, Kenrick Williams, who started it off small by selling newspapers and local fruits. With the guidance of God, he was able to expand his business venture into various sectors which then grew into the business we now see.”

There have been milestones for the brand along its journey. “Some of the major milestones we have gained to date would have to be maintaining our relationship with our great customers, the expansion of our brand and our will and ability to survive during this pandemic despite seeing many having to close their business doors.”

Kevin also says one of the lessons he has learned as an entrepreneur so far is “that it’s ok to ask for help and to always put yourself in the shoes of your customers.”

He also has advice for those considering becoming an entrepreneur. “Take every step with faith, hope and with God. With him all things are possible.”

Kevin pledges to continue to grow his brand offering more and more products to satisfy his customers.
