But what’s the story behind Destiny Planners? In March 2003, Letetia made this dream a reality by registering as a company called Angel Services. The aim was to assist startup and skilled businesses to make valuable management decisions, geared toward assisting entrepreneurs to secure themselves against bankruptcy. 

By February 2011, Letetia took that leap of faith and decided to become a full-time entrepreneur. She worked towards building and growing the company.  “This definitely took some adjustment and plenty of prayerful thought. It was hard at times, especially managing a young growing family too. About this time, I changed the business name to Destiny Planners,”  said Letetia. In March 2014 the Destiny Planners team began to grow with Michele Superville taking a leap of faith and became a full-time entrepreneur to work with Letetia. “Our aim is to educate individuals about proper money management strategies and to change individuals’ mindset about money.” In December 2016, Destiny Planners officially became a Limited Liability Company.

What do I really want? Why don’t I already have it? What would it be like or feel like if I got exactly what I said I wanted? How can I get or accomplish what I said I want? Remember the road to success is not straight and narrow. It is difficult. You have to be willing to make the change,” said Letetia.

Letetia is a full-time entrepreneur with Destiny Planners. “Yes, we are full-time entrepreneurs. Yes, it can be challenging at times especially with a growing family, and managing the children with their extracurricular activities.  When life hits you a curveball you have to learn to adjust with the changes. It proves to be challenging at times but as an entrepreneur, you have to be willing to change with the flow of life.”

As for what inspired Letetia to start the business, “I saw a need when entrepreneurs were calling me to do their taxes and VAT. As the years passed, we realized the problem is managing the money.  Our aim now more than ever is to educate.”

Since the onset of the business, Letetia and her team have celebrated many milestones from registering the business as, a limited liability, launching their website with PayPal features, outsourcing virtual assistance to help with responding to emails, setting appointments and answering calls, becoming certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisors, launching their Entrepreneur Startup Courses called Passion2Profits and Num83r5 Don’t Lie, registering with WiPay to allow our clients/customers to be able to pay for any of our services using this platform and in 2020 to have fully virtualized all their services, which was one of their ultimate goals.

For Letetia, one of the lessons learned along the way is not to give up. 

“Don’t give up on your dream. It may take longer than you think. You have to learn to have patience.  Dreams do really come through.” And what advice does Letetia for budding entrepreneurs? “Dreams do really come through. Always follow through. The road to success is not easy. It is plenty of work. You must put in the work.”
