It’s no secret that Trinidad and Tobago is a place with many beautiful spots and it’s exactly this that Look Opticians celebrates with their new marketing campaign, Love to Look, which celebrates the beauty found within our twin island republic, captured by local photographers and artists.
The latest installment can be found at the Queen’s Park Oval in the form of a billboard that features the work of local photographer and artist, Chris Anderson. Anderson’s highly acclaimed photo, Blue Breakfast, was adapted to not only promote the beautiful fauna we have here in T&T but also to tie in nicely with Look’s core business of correcting and sharpening one’s vision.
“It is just great to be collaborating with LOOK once again. I appreciate their concerted efforts to support local artists.” said Anderson. “Their approach is respectful and collaborative. When it comes to selecting an image, Look will usually start by browsing through my online galleries . Haven chosen a few photos they obtain my feedback before finally selecting the best one that suits their campaign at that time,” he added.

This isn’t the first time Look has worked with local artisans in their advertising campaigns. The opticians brand works with local photographers each year on their calendar project which always features local images.
The brand also had a campaign entitled “Look Trinidad” which saw local writer and amateur photographer brand, TTChatterbox, sharing images from around the country. Prior to this, in 2017, LOOK was one of the sponsors for the film adaptation of the popular book, Green Days By The River, written by eminent Trinidadian author Michael Anthony.

“We are very experienced in the opticians business and wanted to go beyond just advertising our products and services. Instead we want to focus on showing the beauty you are able to behold having benefited from our services. The things that you see and can identify with here in Trinidad and Tobago, the beauty all around us.” said Look’s marketing officer, Chelsea Wiseman.
Look opened its doors back in 2011 with their first branch on Ariapita Avenue and now have four branches in total.
